In 2021 The Warringah Rats are moving towards standardising the rep schedule across all age groups, and are currently finalising training and trial schedules across the following draft timeline.
1 – 19 May: U12-Opens Selection Trials
19 May: U12-Opens Teams selected
19 May – 9 June: U10-U11 Selection Trials
9 June: U10 – U11 Teams selected
12 – 14 June: U12-Opens NSWJRU State Championship
3 – 4 July: U10 – U11 NSWJRU Gala Day
The Club hopes to run some training sessions prior to trials which will be open to all Warringah village club players. We will let you know once we finalise dates.
There is a new Rats Academy platform this season for players to register interest in the program and their intention to trial. The Rats Academy platform will also be used to publish information about the program such as training and trial times. Registration has 3 steps:
1. Create an account
2. Add your children
3. Register to Trial
Making registration to trial a separate step allows for players to be involved in the Rats Academy without necessarily trialling. It is important that we provide the opportunity for all players at Warringah village clubs to improve their game, and not just focus on the rep squads.
